To fulfill the need for a lighthouse north of the Cape, on March 3, 1837 congress approved a $5,000 budget to construct a lighthouse at Bodie Island. In its third iteration, the Bodie Lighthouse stands at 156 feet tall. Enjoy assembling this mini-building-block replica of the lighthouse in its current form!
