Description
Glacier Bay National Park is one of Alaska’s eight national parks. It was created by ice melts over hundreds of years. President Calvin Coolidge deemed Glacier Bay and the surrounding area a national monument in 1925, and in 1980, President Jimmy Carter established it Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
