A winding and scenic hiking path, Precipice Trail leads travelers through boulder fields, over cliffs, and across bridges on an adventure through Acadia’s vast scenery. This trail was funded and created by Princeton University Professor Rudolph Ernest Brunnow to create a route passing over the cliffs of Champlain Mountain.
