This vintage poster is based on a film negative of an original WPA-era Yellowstone travel poster that was thought lost to time. The unique color scheme is the result of a guesstimate on the original poster’s colors.
Depicting Old Faithful billowing out a 145-foot-tall spout of steaming hot water, this poster was originally drawn by a Works Progress Administration artist to drive visitors to the park during the Great Depression.
